Navsari: A patient who tested positive for corona in the district has died in a suspicious manner. 6-year-old Mahesh Bhai Patel of Bamanbel village in Chikhali taluka has died. The positive patient had been suffering from TB for the last 15 years. He died the day after the report came back positive.
The cause of death is being reiterated by the health department as TB, not covid. However, postmortem of the body will be done by the team of doctors today and the death will be found. A 70-year-old woman has died in Navsari district so far. If the postmortem reveals that Kovid has died, the death toll from Kovid in the district will reach 8. A postmortem report of the deceased is currently awaited.
